Designing a Compact Living Area: A first-year, first-semester project.

I present to you my architectural conception of a singular living space, crafted meticulously to cater to one individual yet equipped to accommodate a guest. Additionally, it boasts a dining area suitable for up to four individuals. Perched atop the Tweekerken Campus in Ghent, this abode offers a panoramic view of the Muinkkaai.

The design ingeniously merges two distinct blocks, culminating in a total of 40 square meters. The project came with its set of challenges, including specific material selections and window placements.
